English Willow bat designed for regular adult players looking for a powerful, well balanced bat.Hand crafted from prime English Willow in GM’s Nottingham Factory, this Prima 404 bat has a concave profile with low swell position for front foot power play

Technical Information

The shortened 540mm blade has a F4.5 face profile. A bow to the face give the GM Powerarc, whilst substantial edges the length of the blade and lengthened handle combine to give an enhanced pick up.

The harrow size is perfectly scaled to replicate the shape of the adult blade. A F4.5 bowed face profile, gives the GM Powerarc while the large edges allied to its profile give an enhanced pick up

404 Willow

404 Willow is a seasoned bleached grade 3 English willow. With blemishes to the willow including knot marks and stain/speck. As all English willow has differing characteristics the grain count across the blade will vary from blade to blade, making each bat unique.

Handle

All GM Bats are fitted a quality treble sprung cane handle, which is bound with twine and fitted in the case of the Prima with a Pro-Lite grip, GM’s lightest ever grip

Toe Guard

The Toe of GM bats has been treated with DriGuard to resist damp and minimise toe swell. In addition a shaped toe guard is also applied to the bottom of the bat as extra protection against feathering and damage from tapping at the crease.

Care Instructions

Please follow the care instruction provided with the bat. Whilst GM Bats are ‘Knocked In’ it is highly recommended that they are ‘Played In ‘ before use with a hard ball. This done by first hitting short catches and or facing throwdowns with an old good quality cricket ball. It is advisable initially avoid facing a new ball in the nets or a game as this can cause severe blade indentation and damage.
